Krabi- day 1

After we reschedule our trip from June to Aug..finally alhamdullillah pegi jugak.  Macam2 jugak yg jadi few days before our flight..passport problem, almost kena tinggal flight (coz tersampai lambat..why? long story hehe) but we feel released as soon we realized that we are in the flight to Krabi already :)

Once we arrived Krabi airport, someone from travel agency already waiting for us.  Hubby booked during matta fair so for RM700++ we got

~2 nights accommodation at Aonang Princeville (free one night so become 3 nights)

~Airport transfer to/from hotel

~Half day Krabi town tour upon arrival with free lunch

~One hour massage at Aonang Princeville

From airport terus dibawa pegi makan..seafood fried rice

our first meal at Krabi..tpi b4 to sempat belasah nasi lemak with teh tarik dlm flight..hmm :)

Lepas  tu terus pegi to Tiger Cave temple..dekat sini banyak sangat monkeys and err..dogs. Takde la nak pegi sngt pun. Tapi da part of the package becoz beside us ade one chinese couple in the tour also.  See..i told ya bnyk monkeys

Lepas tu di bawa pegi pusing2 krabi town including pegi to gift shop and last trip we went to Krabi Coastal Fisheries Research.  Based on explanation from our tour guide, dkt cni mcm2 jenis ikan ade dekat dalam kolam tu. But disebabkan kitaorng pegi time off season and raining..so ade bnyk mud and seaweed mati yg menyebabkan air tu tak clear.  So melepas la chance nak tengok.  But diaorng ade aquarium..so dapat la tengok sikit2

Dah penat pusing-pusing pukul 4 baru check in hotel.  Once we arrived we been welcomed by Aonang Princeville staff with fresh roselle juice.   Our room pics :)

Orchid da macam one signature dekat hotel ni. Dalam bilik ade orchid,minum air ade orchid..it’s everywhere

After take a rest sume..it’s time to hunt local food.  Since this resort betul2 in the middle of the road (which is for me very convenient) we decided to tour on the left side first.  Malam2 memang best jalan-jalan dekat sini.  Then we stopped dekat one restaurant ni yg ada ‘halal’ logo (I forgot the name of the restaurant..but kedai ni betul2 dekat tepi jalan.

Oh ya..before we went out we stopping by dekat reception coz nak tanye about  available pakej tat they can offer.  They are so helpful and manage to pujuk the travel agent to give us the best price for 4 island tour for the next day.  We able to get at RM90/person..original price rm120. 

And for second day we plan to go jungle trakking and able to get at RM90 also..patutnye original price rm150! But this one we got it by stopping by at travel agency one by one outside of our hotel to compare the prices. 

Yeay..so our schedule for 2 days dah pack :)

Laksa Sarawak

 

Stay dekat Sarawak memang tak complete if you don’t try laksa sarawak.  Laksa sarawak are made of…err tak sure hehe. But the taste ade a mix of lime, kari, spice and herbs.  And di serve with mee hoon and sambal wit taste macam sambal belacan. The best halal laksa sarawak that i had so fardekat miri ni…Jasmine cafe. Located at Lot 843 & 844 Ground Floor, Jalan Merpati 98000 Miri

You can order laksa sarawak or laksa sarawak special.  My choice? laksa sarawak special of course.  I asked if they sell paste laksa sarawak (orng tak reti masak ler katakan hehe) but unfortunately takde la pulak.  But beside that this cafe ade banyak menu lain..but from my opinion their laksa sarawak yang the best dekat sini

I’ve been in Miri for about 4 months dah sekarang. What can I say about Miri? Well except the fact yang Miri adalah the second largest city in Sarawak, here also is the place where you can find those big oil & gas company. Miri terkenal dgn eco-tourism destinations mcm Gunung Mulu,Lambir Natinal Park and Gua Niah

If u ask me whether have I been to this famous visitors attractions, off course ler belum (I’m not really adventurous person actually :P) . Usually during weekend I have to work pun. Kesian kan.

Since dah few months dekat sini I can say I da familiar dgn jln2 dekat Miri dah (hehe berlagak ler pulak)..Wat the difference between KL dgn Miri. Miri tak jam pagi-pagi, takde toll, nak pegi mane2 pun dekat je..pegi town dekat,pegi airport dekat and dekat dgn beach. Ape yg ade kat KL but takde dekat Miri? Roti gardenia takde, drive thru MacD takde and masakan thai dekat sini mcm paprik,tomyam memang lain rasa dgn semananjung. Kurang spicy and kurang umphh hehe

But if I go back  to KL I’m sure I’ll miss laksa Sarawak,mee kolok, jalan2 dekat pasar seberkas, tgk sunset dkt esplanade and yg pasti kek lapis Sarawak (I notice I asik tulis about foods je dari tadi kan..ish2)

And Everytime balik to KL (own expenses ok, company tak sponsor pun tsk..tsk ) mesti my mum kirim ni..berekor2 ikan terubuk masin. Memang I tak pernah try before, but time balik haritu my mum masakkan memang sedap. Tak mcm ikan masin biasa yg dekat KL tu..Miri punye lagi fresh and kurang masin and sedap dimakan. So far orng2 ofis recommend beli kat ade one auntie ni dekat pasar seberkas. Pasar ni open every Friday and saturday

And I also don’t know why lalapan@ayam penyet sangat la famous dekat Miri. Most of the kedai makan dekat Miri mesti ade lalapan. You can choose from lalapan ayam, daging,ikan. Ikan memang bnyk choice from bawal,tongkol,ikan merah, talapia etc. Kedai lalapan yg paling famous sekali dekat miri..Restoran Muara dekat Miri waterfront. Memang selalu penuh.  Lebih kurang macam ayam penyet dekat Kl tu je (I suke sngt makan dekat Ayam Penyet Ria..yummy but pedas banget). But dekat miri sambal dia memang sambal belacan and sayur2 nye lagi banyak

Miri memang a bit pricey ler barang-barang dia.  I think maybe sebab berneighbour to Brunei kot.  Most of their citizens usually datang to Miri every weekend.  Miri off course a much more cheaper for them compared to their own countries. Till then.Ja...
